Plant-based eating is a growing trend world wide, but some people fear that it is expensive, time consuming and difficult. Rosa and Margo, aka Two Raw Sisters, show you that it definitely doesn’t have to be! Two Raw Sisters are fantastic influencers and educators, who prove how easy, time efficient and cost-effective plant-based eating can be through their catering and cookbooks, and their always-lively cooking workshops. They minimise the use of expensive and often hard-to-source nuts, seeds and superfoods, always use seasonal produce, and believe a meal should always start with the fruits and vegetables – then you add what you choose on the side.
In their Friday workshop Two Raw Sisters will share their own health experiences and challenges as they’ve transitioned into a predominantly plant-based lifestyle, before showing you how to create three delicious plant-based recipes. These will include middle eastern cauliflower salad with pistachio salsa, hemp hummus, with mango cashew butter ice cream to finish. You’ll get to sample all the food that they make, and Rosa and Margo guarantee that you’ll walk away from the workshop feeling refreshed and inspired to include more plant-based foods in your lives.
On Saturday Two Raw Sisters will put on a delicious and nourishing lunch for you to enjoy. To begin with they’ll demonstrate a turmeric sorghum salad, a chickpea Waldorf salad, to be followed by a Two Raw Sisters special of Banoffee pie! Sit down and savour the food they’ve created in front of you over a beautiful long lunch, matched with delicious Rapaura Springs wine.
