Tickets

Tickets go on sale 21st July 2026. Tickets can be purchased online via www.gardenmarlborough.co.nz. You will be redirected to our secure ticketing platform, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Bookings can also be made by calling 0800 627 527, emailing admin@gardenmarlborough.co.nz,  or visiting our office at 92 High Street, Blenheim (entrance off Henry Street).


Registration

All daytime ticket holders must register at Garden Marlborough HQ, 92 High Street (entrance off Henry Street), prior to attending events. At registration you will collect your GM bag and lanyard.


Evening event ticket holders may proceed directly to their venue with emailed ticket.


Registration Hours

• Wednesday 4 November: 9.00am – 6.30pm

• Thursday 5 November: 7.30am – 6.30pm

• Friday 6 November: 7.30am – 6.30pm

• Saturday 7 November: 7.30am – 2.00pm


Refunds and Cancellations

Every effort will be made to deliver events as advertised. However, Garden Marlborough (2004) Inc. reserves the right to make changes to programmes, schedules, speakers, venues or event formats where necessary.


Refunds, exchanges and cancellations will be managed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. For full details, please visit our website.


Ticket Transfers

If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another person at any time prior to the event. Please contact us with the new attendee details.

Group bookings

For larger group bookings, please contact our office directly at admin@gardenmarlborough.co.nz or call 0800 627 527, and we’ll be happy to assist.


Garden Tours

All tours are fully guided and travel by bus, departing from and returning to Seymour Square in central Blenheim. Guests must be 12 years or over to attend the tours due to water hazards at some of the gardens. Anyone attending between 12-17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that self-drive options are not available.


Lunch

Lunch is included on Full day tours. For half-day tours and workshops, lunch can be pre-ordered on the website for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Pre-ordered lunches can be collected from Garden Marlborough Event HQ on the day.


Dietary Requirements

Please advise any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Dietary requests cannot be accommodated during event week.


Water

Please bring a reusable water bottle. Water will be available at most (but not all) locations.


What to Wear

We recommend wearing comfortable footwear and dressing for changeable weather including sun protection, as well as something warm and waterproof.


Travelling to Marlborough

By Road

Approximate Travel times:

  Nelson to Blenheim (116km) 1hr 30 mins 

Christchurch to Blenheim (308km) 4hr 30 mins

Westport to Blenheim (264km) 3hr 40 mins


By Air

Blenheim Airport has daily connections from Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland.
The airport is approximately 10km from the town centre, with taxis and shuttle services available.

By Ferry

Interislander and Bluebridge ferries arrive into Picton, 28km from Blenheim (approximately a 30-minute drive).
Buses meet most ferry arrivals. For timetable information, contact Picton i-SITE on 03 520 3113 or Blenheim i-SITE on 0800 777 181.


Accommodation

Photography

You are welcome to take personal photos in the gardens, unless otherwise advised by garden owners or staff.


Professional photography takes place throughout the event and images may be shared on our website and social media channels following the event.



Are garden tours available at other times of the year?


Garden Marlborough tours take place exclusively in early November each year. If you’re interested in visiting gardens outside of this time, we recommend exploring the NZ Gardens Trust website: www.gardens.org.nz

Terms & Conditions

Every effort has been made to ensure all events are held in accordance with the details set out in the programme. Garden Marlborough (2004) Inc. cannot be held responsible for those activities that do not proceed due to circumstances beyond the control of the organising committee. If circumstances necessitate replacement of a workshop/seminar presenter, ticket holders will be advised and, if not happy with the new arrangements, may apply for a refund. Please note there are no exchanges or refunds on tickets except as required by law.

We respect your privacy. Garden Marlborough Inc. does not sell or distribute customer contact information unless otherwise required as a matter of law. Garden Marlborough Inc. may collect, retain and update personal information provided by you, in order to process tickets and for future marketing. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, you have the right to access, and to request correction or removal of any of your personal information.
